Hyundai fluidic sculpture to debut later this year

Hyundai Motor  will debut its sixth generation premium sedan, titled ‘i45’, later this year and will feature its latest fluidic sculpture design.

The model, which will be in the Sonata series, is set to give a boost to the second largest carmaker’s brand image, according to Hyundai officials.

This is the third Hyundai car under the i-series, it already has the i10 and i20. The ‘i45’ sedan will have a 2.4 litre petrol engine generating 198 horsepower and is expected to cost Rs 19-20 lakh.

It is pitted against Maruti Suzuki’s Kizashi, Volkswagen’s Passat, Honda’s Accord, Nissan Teana and segment leader Skoda Superb.
